Kate and Ian’s wedding at Hothorpe Hall
Kate and Ian were married at All Saints Church, Lubenham, on Saturday with their reception following at the nearby Hothorpe Hall.
Their love of the South Leicestershire countryside was evident from their pre-wedding portrait shoot a couple of weeks earlier as we wandered across the fields at Lubenham and I photographed them with cows in the background. Their choice of wedding venue gave similar photographic opportunities as we photographed them on the picturesque approach road leading up to Hothorpe Hall against a backdrop of rolling hills – and sheep!
Kate looked fabulous in a Nicola Ann bridal gown from Brides of Market Harborough, and they were both game enough to wander into a field of nearby oats (or was it barley, or wheat??) for some lovely images in the late afternoon early evening light!
