Back in mid October my reward to myself after a long summer of fabulous weddings was a couple of days in southern Spain on a workshop led by Damien Lovegrove and Martin Hill.

I’d been tempted by it after seeing the images that Damien posted on his blog earlier in the year following a recce that they did out there. The location looked fabulous – a deserted monastery just outside of Murcia – and the model that they took with them on the recce, Katy McGee, was going to be modelling on the workshop.

I’ve worked with a number of professional models in the past and I can honestly say that Katy is one of the best, with a wonderful natural look and an ability to adopt the right pose with minimal (in some cases absolutely none!) direction.

I’ve posted a small selection of images, all in black and white. Although the colours were fabulous I didn’t want to detract from Katy!
